About the Author
Andrzej Sapkowski was born in 1948 in Poland. He studied economics and business, but the success of his fantasy cycle about the sorcerer Geralt of Rivia turned him into a bestselling writer. He is now one of Poland's most famous and successful authors.
Peter Kenny is a talented and experienced actor, voice-over artist, singer, musician, and designer, with over twenty-five years of experience working in theater, film, television, and audio. In recent years he has achieved great critical acclaim for multicharacter recordings of audiobooks by authors such as Iain Banks, Christopher Priest, and Edmund St Aubyn.

Great Read (spoiler Free)

This is a great addition to the Witcher books. It has more action than the previous book and some great dialogue. I am looking forward to reading the next one.
**IMPORTANT**
If you've read The Blood of Elves without reading the second short story book (The Sword of Destiny, never got officially published in English), Google 'The Sword of Destiny Fan Translation' and read it! They are super easy to find, and even come in a kindle friendly (.mobi) format! If you're a fan of the series and haven't read the second short story book then you're really missing out.

Well Written/Translated

The overarching story starts to get dark in this book. Kind of reminds me of The Empire Strikes back in mood and direction. There are a series of chaotic events that take place, but the writing makes the chaos easy to follow. The characters develop well in this volume and their interactions are done very well. I got into the books by playing the games. As I read the books, I am finding that I like them better than the games. That is saying a lot considering that I think The Wild Hunt is one of the best games ever made.
