What a great idea. The complete "Dave Funk's Tube Amp Workbook" without the schematics for half the price! Now you can learn all about tubes amps without the expense of paying for the Fender schematics. Maybe you're only into Marshall, or VOX amps. This book still has you covered. Dave explains amps from each individual component, to how they're assembled into a circuit, what effect each part has, and you end up with an understanding of the complete amp. He explains what parts can be changed, and the range of usable values, and what effect the mods will have. He also explains how tubes work, why tubes sound louder than transistors. (BTW, Dave now builds the world's best solid state bass amp). Dave's built or modified amps for the players, bands, or on the records of Garth, Shania, Vince Gill, Patty Loveless, Steve Wariner, Tony Joe White, Charlie Daniels, Marty Stuart, Tracii Guns, Michael McDonald, Norman Brown, Billy Dickens, Billy Bob Thornton, Andy Williams, Billy Dean, Jauqo III-X, Janelle Monae, etc. From country to rock to jazz. He knows how to get tone and chime out of an amp.
